Be Our Guest!!

Home Page

Kodiak is home to the Salmon Run Guesthouse. The Guesthouse is located within walking distance of downtown and St. Paul Harbor. Your host and hostess, Roy and Treena Breyfogle, have lived on the Island for several years and can suggest many activities that will make your trip to Kodiak one you’ll talk about for years. You’ll enjoy a restful night’s sleep in our clean and comfortable smoke-free accommodations after a grand House from air.day of salmon or halibut fishing with one of the local charters or hopping on a float plane for a trip to Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge for bear viewing.

The Guesthouse offers three apartment-style accommodations - -the Chinook, the Sockeye, and the Coho -- all with private entrances and baths. The Chinook suite has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living/dining area. The Sockeye and Coho rooms are one-bedroom units with a kitchen/living area.

Juice and fresh baked goodies, hot and cold cereal, and tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are provided to allow you to breakfast at your leisure.

Have a cup of tea, sip a glass of wine while relaxing on the upper deck enjoying a view of the downtown area and the harbor. Munch on the ubiquitous snack of smoked salmon, cream cheese, and Ritz crackers -- the salmon provided by Kodiak Island Smokehouse. Maybe a batch of fresh baked cookies will be coming out of the oven. (Or maybe we are out kayaking, hiking, fishing, or doing a bear trip. In that case, the cookies may not be just out of the oven but you will still have the view.)

Use the links at the left to gather more information about the Guesthouse. Check the 'Availibility' link to see if the unit you would like is open. Take a look at the Photo Album. There is also a page that discusses establishments I am familiar with and can recommend. The links on the right take you to more information on Kodiak in general.
